Whole Person-Coaching Definitions
Life coaching – is a professional practice that guides individuals in achieving personal and professional goals. Life coaches offer support, encouragement, and accountability, helping clients identify strengths, set goals, and create actionable plans for personal growth and self-improvement.
Shadow Work – is the practice of exploring and integrating the unconscious aspects of oneself, often referred to as the “shadow.” These are parts of ourselves that have been repressed or denied, that one may consider undesirable or unacceptable. The goal of shadow work is to bring these hidden aspects into conscious awareness, understand them, and accept them, which can lead to greater self-awareness, and personal growth.
Relational Coaching: – focuses on communication as the foundation for creating healthier relationships. This approach supports all types of relationships, not just romantic ones, by enhancing communication skills and fostering deeper connections.
Father Wound / Mother Wound – The mother wound and father wound refer to the emotional pain and unresolved issues arising from a parent’s absence, neglect, or harmful behavior during a person’s upbringing. These wounds can manifest as low self-worth, difficulties in forming healthy relationships, low self-esteem, and struggles with self-nurturing and self-compassion. Addressing these wounds can improve personal growth.
Self-forgiveness – is the process of acknowledging, accepting, and letting go of guilt, shame, or regret over past actions or mistakes. It involves recognizing one’s imperfections, taking responsibility, and making amends where possible. By practicing self-compassion and understanding, individuals can release negative emotions, learn from their experiences, and move forward with a renewed sense of self-worth and inner peace.
Health Coaching – is a professional practice that offers personalized guidance to help individuals achieve their health and wellness goals. By focusing on areas such as nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and self-care, health coaches empower clients to make sustainable lifestyle changes, improve overall well-being, and enhance their quality of life.
Pantry Makeover – the process of reorganizing and restocking your pantry to promote healthier eating habits. The goal is to create an environment that supports and encourages making healthier food choices easily and consistently.
Grow Your Own Food – This references how to grow you own food indoors or outdoors utilizing an aeroponic garden system.
Eat More Fruits & Veggies – easily include more fruits and vegetables in your diet through supplementation with the world’s most researched nutraceutical.
Grief Coaching – A professional practice that helps individuals navigate and heal from loss through personalized support, guidance, and coping strategies.
Grief & Loss Processing – The coaching approach to grief and loss focuses on providing support, guidance, and practical strategies to help individuals navigate their grief journey and find a path toward healing and renewal. Grief may be related to any loss (job, pets, life, relationships, money, friends, etc.)
Psychodrama – is a technique which uses spontaneous dramatization, role-playing, and dramatic self-presentation to explore and gain insights into one’s life. This practice is extremely effective in processing grief & loss.
Grief Workshop – is a structured workshop designed to help individuals navigate and process their grief. The workshop consists of education, psychodrama, breathing techniques, and other experiential activities.
Somatic Therapy – A therapeutic practice that integrates touch and movement to release physical tension and emotional stress, promoting overall well-being.
Psychic Shield – in regard to Somatic Coaching, is a therapeutic technique that combines breathwork, physical awareness, visualization, and intention-setting to create a protective mental barrier against negativity & stress. This service can be offered as a massage session (see below).
Emotional Release – in regard to coaching; is a technique that incorporates self-awareness education, breathwork, visualizations, and guided touch. The goal is to help clients identify, and locate emotions in the body, helping with understanding how those emotions affect their lives, emotionally, and physically.
Somatic Processing – incorporates techniques such as self-awareness, breathwork, visualizations, and guided medication & touch. This service focuses on the mind-body connection, helping individuals become aware of how their emotional experiences manifest physically. This service is offered as a massage service as well (see below).

Massage – A therapeutic technique that involves manipulating muscles and tissues to relieve tension, reduce stress, and promote relaxation and healing.
Psychic Shield – is a therapeutic technique that combines traditional massage, visualization, and intention-setting to create a protective barrier against negativity & stress. This service can be offered as a somatic session without massage (see above).
PTSD Massage – is a specialized massage protocol designed to help individuals with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) manage and alleviate their symptoms. This type of massage focuses on creating a safe and supportive environment, using gentle, calming techniques to reduce physical tension, anxiety, and stress. PTSD is most often related to service men and women. However, others that have experienced extremely stressful and traumatic events may also develop PTSD.
Somatic Massage – techniques used in this massage vary depending on the client’s needs and may include rocking, compression, breathwork, and swaddling. This massage session focuses on helping individuals understand how their emotional experiences manifest physically. This service can be offered as a somatic session without massage (see above).
AromaTouch Massage – is a 45-minute clinical massage method that uses 8 essential oils applied to the back and neck along energy lines and reflexology points. The touch utilized during this massage is light and similar to the touch of a lymphatic massage.
Emotional Release – is a therapeutic technique that combines physical massage with methods aimed at releasing stored emotional tension and trauma from the body. This type of massage focuses on identifying and working through areas where emotional stress has caused physical issues.
